Overview

Reperios (“we”, “us”, “our”) helps you understand your personality and explore compatibility with people in your life. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights over it.

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Data we collect

Account data

When you create an account we store your email address and a display name you choose. This is used to authenticate you and to personalise the experience.

Personality assessment data

When you take or upload an assessment, we store your Big Five personality scores. This data is used to generate your personality report and, if you invite someone, a compatibility report. It is never shared with third parties except as described in “How we use your data” below.

Demographic information (optional, consent required)

You may choose to provide background information including age range, gender identity, race or ethnicity, disability status, neurodivergent status, military service, and occupation. This information is health-adjacent and treated with extra care.
  • It is entirely optional and never required to use the service.
  • It is only stored after you provide explicit, informed consent via a dedicated consent checkbox that explains how the data will be used.
  • It is only included in report generation when you have consented, and is used solely to make your reports more personally relevant.
  • You can delete it at any time from your Profile page.

Compatibility reports

When two users complete a compatibility comparison, the resulting report is stored and visible to both participants. Neither participant's raw personality scores are shared with the other — only the generated report text.

Usage data

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.

How we use your data

We use your data exclusively to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session.
  • Generate your personality report using the Claude AI model (Anthropic, Inc.).
  • Generate compatibility reports when you and another user both consent to a comparison.
  • Where you have consented, personalise reports using your demographic information.

Report generation sends your personality scores (and demographic data where consented) to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's Privacy Policy governs how they handle data sent to their API. We do not send your name, email, or account identifiers to Anthropic.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL service). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and encrypted at rest. Row-level security policies ensure users can only access their own records.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — delete your demographic data at any time from your Profile page, or request full account deletion by contacting us.
  • Withdraw consent — you may withdraw consent for demographic data processing at any time without affecting your use of the rest of the service.
  • Portability — request your data in a portable format.

These rights apply regardless of your location. Users in the European Union have additional rights under the GDPR. Users in California have additional rights under the CCPA. Users in Washington state have additional rights under the My Health MY Data Act with respect to health-adjacent demographic data.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. You can read more in our Cookie Policy.

Children

Reperios is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
